The museum of modern art of the city hosts an interesting exhibition

The MAN Museum (Museo d’Arte Provincia di Nuoro) is a small but elegant museum of modern art situated in the beautiful city of Nuoro, in the heart of the mountains of Sardinia. From the 7th of March until the 18th of May the museum will host a retrospective dedicated to one of the most important photojournalists of the 20th century, Robert Capa.

Robert Capa. A Life Slightly Out of Focus is the title of the exhibition that will feature about one hundred of Capa’s original works including the famous “Death of a Republican Militia Man” and a selection of the photos that give the title to the exhibition, the “slightly out of focus” pictures of the D-Day, the Allied Forces landing in Normandy during World War II.

The MAN museum is located in Nuoro, in Via Via Sebastiano Satta 27. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 to 13 and from 15 to 19. Tickets are priced €3 for normal admission, or €2 for young people 18-25. Free entry for visitors aged under 18 and over 65. Free entry for everyone on the last sunday of the month.
